The premier is promising that a top expert on all things Christmas will be with him. Who could it be?
Premier François Legault will address the children of Quebec on Sunday during an online press conference, and has promised that a very special Christmas expert will be accompanying him.
The event will take place on the premier’s Facebook page at 5 p.m. No other details were given in the press release issued Saturday night.
The premier repeated the invitation on Twitter Sunday morning.
“I invite all the children of Quebec to watch our press conference at 5 p.m. on my social network page,” he said. “I will make a very important announcement on Christmas plans, with the top expert on the subject.”
He did not specify who that top expert would be.

In March, in the first weeks of the pandemic, Quebec’s Families Minister, Mathieu Lacombe, presented a video to answer questions sent to him by children aged 3 to 12. More than 1,200 questions were received in 24 hours.
Lacombe sent a message of reassurance, telling children not to change their routines as long as their health was not at risk, and advising them to use technology to stay close to the people they love.
Trudeau spoke of the basics of good hygiene in times of pandemic, including washing hands regularly, respecting isolation guidelines as well as those of physical distancing.
He also took the opportunity to give news of his wife Sophie Grégoire Trudeau who was then suffering from COVID-19.
