Lindsay Lohan and her two-year boyfriend have announced their engagement. The Mean Girls star uploaded a number of images with her 9.7 million Instagram followers on Sunday, Nov. 28.
“My love. My life. My family. My future. @bader.shammas #love,” she wrote, tagging Bader Shammas, her fiancé, and using a ring emoji. Lohan, 35, is seen cuddling up to Shammas and with a huge diamond engagement ring plainly shown in the photos recently uploaded on Instagram.
In a statement to ET, Lohan’s mother, Dina, expressed her joy over the engagement. “My heart is whole,” she declared. “There is nothing more essential to a mother than seeing her children happy and cherished. Her exciting new journey begins. “Light and love.”
Lohan and Shammas were initially connected in early 2020, soon before the outbreak at a music festival in Dubai. Dubai is the place where Shammas have been living for the past few years. Shammas works as an assistant vice president at Credit Suisse in Dubai, as mentioned by the Daily Mail.
“Lindsay and Bader have a strong relationship. She has completed with him nearly two years, according to a source who spoke to the Mail. “Bader is a consistent and solid presence in her life,” the informant stated. “He’s a genuine individual.” He’s not an actor or in the entertainment industry; at Credit Suisse, he handles resources for high-net-worth individuals.”
Lohan was previously engaged to Russian heir Egor Tarabasov, but the two called off their engagement in 2016 after images of them squabbling over a cellphone surfaced.
